Note: This tier list is for beginners. Competitive tier lists look different. This list helps you pick Pokemon that are easy to use and strong.

How to Read This Tier List

  • Tier S - Must-haves. Pick these if you want to win.
  • Tier A - Excellent. Great for any team.
  • Tier B - Good. Strong in the right team.
  • Tier C - Average. Need specific support.
  • Tier D - Avoid in competitive.

Tier S - Meta-defining. You will see these in almost every high-rank battle.

We update this tier list every time the meta shifts - usually after game updates or when new Pokemon are added. Last updated: June 7, 2026.

Tips for Using This Tier List

  • Pick 1-2 S-tier Pokemon for your first team. They are strong and easy to use.
  • Cover your weaknesses - Don't pick 4 Pokemon all weak to the same type.
  • Have fun! Tiers are just guidelines. Any Pokemon can work with the right team.
