Guild Wars Reforged — All 10 Professions
Every class, their strengths, and the best secondary profession combos.
📖 Primary vs Secondary Profession
Your primary profession determines your armor type, HP, and energy. Your secondary profession lets you add ANY of its skills into your 8-skill bar. This is the core of Guild Wars' build depth — experiment with different combos!
Warrior
Tanky frontline damage dealer. High armor and HP. Great for beginners as primary profession.
Ranger
Ranged DPS with pet companion. Good for learning positioning and kiting.
Monk
Primary healer. Challenging for beginners solo — best with a party or high-Hero setup.
Elementalist
Powerful spellcaster with Fire/Earth/Water/Air magic. Fragile but devastating.
Necromancer
Summons minions and applies conditions. Great for solo play with minion tanking.
Mesmer
Controls enemy perception with illusions. High skill ceiling but very rewarding.
Assassin
High burst damage with teleport skills. Requires Factions campaign.
Ritualist
Summons helpful spirits for party buffs and healing. Requires Factions campaign.
Paragon
Support/DPS hybrid with area-effect shouts. Requires Nightfall campaign.
Dervish
Fast melee with scythe and enchantments. Requires Nightfall campaign.
🔒 Campaign-Locked Professions
Factions Campaign
Unlocks Assassin and Ritualist. Faster leveling but harder for beginners.
Nightfall Campaign
Unlocks Paragon and Dervish. Also gives early Hero access — great for beginners.
